    F. Duncan Case Ski Area
    Essex Junction, Vermont
    Constructed but never opened, 1970s
The rope to at the F. Duncan Case Ski Area
    Overview
    F. Duncan Case constructed a small private rope tow area in the late 1970s. Due to the terrain and lack of interest, it never opened.
    Today
The rope tow from the F. Duncan Case ski area is still in place as of summer 2009.
    Quotes
[A] 300' rope tow, owned by F. Duncan Case, was inspected in Essex Junction in 1971 or 1972. As it turns out, this area never operated.
