Mt. Abram 1965 trail map |
In 1965, Mt. Abram installed a Poma T-Bar that spanned 1,650 feet (or 1,800 feet, depending upon the publication) over the course of 200 vertical feet (300 vertical feet in some publications), apparently capable of carrying 1,200 people per hour at 425 feet per minute. The T-Bar served a complex of at least 3 trails.

This T-Bar was displayed on trail maps through at least 2001. It is possible that the T-Bar was then removed, with parts being used to construct the nearby Flying Squirrel snow tube park lift.
As of 2010, the T-Bar terminal building still remains at the old beginner area. The trails are maintained for cross country use.
